The Lions Club of Kapiti offers a grant of up to $1,000 to assist young athletes who are actively participating in sport, specifically to help them further their aspirations or skill. They must be between 14 and 20 years of age as of December 2016 and are normally residing in the Kapiti District (Paekakariki to Otaki inclusive), Horowhenua residents who have represented Kapiti are also eligible.
All Grant Applicants must also be nominated in the Emerging Sportsman/Sportswoman Category of the 2017 Kapiti Sportsperson of the Year Awards. Click here to nominate today

It is important to indicate the level you are competing at within your code by indicating “national” or “international” level. You must also indicate your intentions as to how you will use the grant should you be successful with your application.
